Advertising in health care

Strict laws and regulations are in place that prohibit advertising by healthcare institutions. Private clinics often do not care about this, and ingeniously advertise their services regardless. Social media is widely used, sometimes supported by newspaper advertisements, radio and TV advertisements. Hardly any action is taken against these activities.

Research has shown that employees of clinics are proud to have their company in the news (2). Additionally, customers often do not worry about it (0). Of course, the advertising does not contribute to the relationship with non-commercial care institutions in the region (-3).
