Holacracy at Springest
Springest has been working according to the Holacracy method since 2012. Holacracy is a new management model for organizations, in which authority in an organic, flat structure in ‘circles’ (teams) and ‘roles’ (responsibilities) is distributed to all employees. As a result, every employee is ‘manager’ of his own roles and is responsible for the functioning of these roles.
Springest implemented this structure in order to grow without the potential barriers of bureaucracy. Thanks to the dynamic and transparent structure, the organisation is able to make continuous adjustments.
At Holacracy, the mission (‘purpose’) of the entire organization and the objectives of all activities are central. Tensions and problems are not swept under the carpet, but rather serve as fuel for the development of the organization. This takes place in effective consultations, with plenty of room for initiative and influence from all employees. Mainly because of this, this way of working is highly appreciated by the employees (3).
